Canny Kwok, Director of Search and Consulting, brings more than 30 years of business development and market growth experience across Asia, the Mid-Pacific, Hawaii and America, specialising in luxury travel retail for jewellery, watches, accessories, perfume and cosmetics. A commercially driven senior leader with a proven track record of developing, driving and executing profitable growth strategies, she has extensive cross-cultural experience working with diverse stakeholders and is passionate about building people’s capabilities, driving business success and leading change as an opportunity.
As a go-to-market leader she has cultivated a strong network of global and regional retail partners across Asia Pacific, building collaborative and long-term relationships that generate business insights and open new opportunities in emerging markets. She has championed airport turnkey projects, securing premium locations through strategic bidding, overseeing construction, establishing business processes and hiring teams to deliver successful and timely openings. Canny has also managed the planning and execution of travel retail trade events in Basel, Florence, Singapore and Cannes, maximising revenue while ensuring immersive brand experiences, first class hospitality and professional meetings with business partners.
She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, a Master’s degree in Counselling (Buddhist) from Hong Kong University, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Diploma in Business Studies from Hang Seng University of Hong Kong. She serves as an Advisory Board Member of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology MBA Alumni and has completed Global Leadership Training at Oxford University covering Strategic Negotiation and Seven Hats Thinking, together with Leadership Training at the Edinburgh Management Training Centre focused on Strategic Risk Taking, Effective Team Building and Activating Creativity Culture.
