INTERNATIONAL. With just three weeks remaining before the deadline, The Moodie Davitt Report is pleased to announce that entries are still open for the eagerly anticipated The Moodies 2024 Travel Journey Social & Media Awards.
Submissions are due by 15 August through the dedicated website.
The winners will be revealed via an online ceremony on 16 October.
This is the 11th edition of the annual awards, recognising excellence in travel-related social media, digital content and creative marketing campaigns.
The Moodies celebrate outstanding achievements across the global travel industry, recognising the most innovative, impactful and engaging work from airports, airlines, brands, retailers and other key players.
The awards programme covers a wide range of categories, from best use of video to top-performing social media campaigns and influencer marketing initiatives, best use of AI, and Digital Disruptor of the Year.
By honouring the industry’s most forward-thinking digital content and strategies, this year’s edition seeks to focus the spotlight on best practices and inspire travel sector stakeholders to elevate consumer engagement through social and digital platforms.

Entry for the awards is via self-nomination and will be charged at US$189 per submission, payable at point of entry.
As reported, The Moodies judging panel comprises top-class industry figures including Airports Council International Vice President of Communications Véronique Demers, along with The Moodie Davitt Report Founder & Chairman Martin Moodie. The names of other judges will be confirmed shortly.
Judging Criteria
The judges will be looking for clear objectives, creative and effective implementation, and tangible and demonstrable results in the campaign award categories. They will also consider the structure, presentation and clarity of each entry.
The written summary component of entries should not exceed 800 words and should relate to work undertaken between 1 August 2023 and 31 July 2024.

- Total budget & objectives
- Target audience & strategy
- Implementation & creativity
- Results & evaluation.
